About

Heffel’s spring exhibition brings together an exceptional collection of masterpieces from major collections around the world, with a total estimated value of between $11 million and $15 million. Highlights include a major 1948 painting by E.J. Hughes, consigned by Emily Carr University of Art + Design; a rare and significant 1950 work by Jean Paul Riopelle; and a major 17th-century portrait by Sir Peter Lely from the Hudson’s Bay Company collection, with a prestigious provenance directly linked to Prince Rupert.

Heffel is honored to present works from the collection of Luc Plamondon.

The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge from April 30 to May 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1840 Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal.

Collectors and art lovers will have the opportunity to admire these priceless works, which will then be auctioned on May 21. An event not to be missed!
